内容介绍 :	The miserly millionaire Yim Chong is an old womaniser. Claiming that he has no son, he persuades his wife Madam Hon to let him take in a concubine. Yim craves after a beautiful peasant girl, Yuk-sim and forces her father to let him marry the daughter. However, Yuk-sim is in love with Yau-wai, the local inspector's son. On their wedding night, Yuk-sim feigns insanity, wielding a pair of sharp scissors to frighten away Yim Chong. This way, she preserves her virginity. Yau-wai's sister, Chui-wan , pretends to be Yuk-sim's cousin and goes to the Yim household to visit Yuk-sim. Yim Chong becomes infatuated by Chui-wan and persuades her to stay behind so that he may seduce her. Chui-wan is in fact in love with Yim Fu, Yim Tong's nephew. They and Madam Hon hatch a conspiracy whereby Chui-wan pretends to agree to Yim Chong's proposal of marriage; on the wedding day, they pull a surprise: Chui-wan switches place with the ugly servant girl Chau- kuk. Thus it turns out that Yim Chong marries Chau-kuk. At last, Chau-kuk gives birth to twin boys; Yuk-sim is reunited with Yau-wai, while Chui-wan belongs to Yim Fu. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
