内容介绍 :	The once distinguished Fong family now degenerates at the core. Old Master Fong marries a second wife who mistreats the filial eldest son and daughter-in-law, while spoils her own child. The younger son drinks and womanises and falls victim to a trap of seduction by a social butterfly who plans to blackmail him with the help of a cad. Fortunately, the younger Fong is saved in time by his brother. A marriage is soon arranged for the younger son. On the day of the banquet, Madam Fong publicly humiliates the eldest son's wife. Seeing the chaos and mess in the family, an anguish eldest son decides to leave for Southeast Asia to start his business. The younger son's wife and the stepmother constantly bicker, leading the younger Fong into depths of depression. The regretful Old Master Fong, suppressed by a ferocious wife and a spoiled daughter-in-law, takes to drink and dies. The eldest son, on nearing the news, decides to return to re-build the Fong family. (Extracted from the film brochure .)
