内容介绍 :	Tycoon Chow Hon -sang throws a costumed party to welcome the new year. Young artist Ng Siu-fung is a guest. Though the ladies admire him, Siu-fung remains unmoved. However, he sees a masked lady when the ball commences and is immediately attracted to her. The lady refuses to take off her mask as Siu-fung demands. She gives Siu-fung a peach blossom at the end of the party. The next day, Siu-fung receives a letter and a peach blossom from the mysterious lady. He tries to search for her but fails to find her. Instead, he meets Hon-sang and a woman who is introduced as Hon-sang's neice. Her name is Chi-bing and is a widow several times over. Each time she married, her husband died not long after. She is known as the "Jinxed Beauty." One day, the masked woman invites Siu-fung to meet her, using a peach blossom as the sign. They make love that night without the woman taking off her mask. Another day the masked woman informs Siu-fung that she is pregnant and asks Siu-fung to meet her after several years. Five years later, Siu-fung holds an exhibition of his paintings. Chi-bing turns up and invites Siu- fung to draw her portrait. They become intimate friends. Hon-sang throws another New Year's Eve Ball. Siu-fung is present and as the ball commences, meets the masked woman. This time, she takes off her mask to reveal herself as Chi -bing. A young girl, named Peach Blossom, comes forth.
