内容介绍 :	The story of Wong Hung-ban, beginning with the death of his wife. On her death bed, Hung-ban's wife exhorts him to take good care of their son King-yin and not to remarry. Hung-ban brings the young King-yin with him to the city and starts working for his uncle Chung Sai-luk. Hung-ban grows close to Uncle Chung's daughter Mei-kuen. However , Uncle Chung becomes ill and before his death, he gives the hand of Mei-kuen to Hung-ban. At first, Mei-kuen looks upon King-yin as her own son but when she gives birth to her own son Tin-wah , she begins to mistreat King-yin. When Hung-ban goes to the capital on business, King-yin runs away from home and goes to the capital in search of his father. Hung-ban regrets having married again and dies from a heart attack. The years pass. King-yin becomes a lawyer while his half-brother Tin-wah becomes a no-account gambler. When Tin-wah and his lover are killed by thugs, Mei-kuen is accused of their murders. King- yin comes forth to defend Mei-kuen and saves her from the gallows. The family is finally reunited.
