内容介绍 :	The Kwans and the Chows are feuding clans. Ah-hing , a poor peasant boy in the Kwan clan resolves to learn the art of the whip after reading the novel The Knight of the Whip in order to avenge his father's death. Originally intending to seek out a master of the Mount Emei school, Ah-hing instead becomes a servant boy in a martial arts school, practising the art of the whip. At this time, the Chou elder falls ill and with his dying breath, instructs his son Ah-sing to engage a martial arts master to teach the Chows boxing and to build up an armoury of guns so that the Chows may defend themselves against Ah-hing. Ah-sing does as he is told. He finds a master but the master agrees to teach Ah-sing only on condition that Ah-sing makes him military adviser of the Chow clan. Ah-hing returns to his village where he intends, on the advice of his teacher, to seek peace with the Chow clan so that both sides may unite to fight the Japanese invaders. Ah-sing's sister Ah -ying goes secretly to the Kwan clan to negotiate peace but is rebuffed by the Kwan elders. On the day both clans are to do battle, Ah-ying tries an II th hour ploy to avoid conflict, invoking her clan to get rid of the treacherous master and to unite with the Kwans to fight the Japanese. Ah-hing defeats the master with his whip. Both clans unite to fight a greater enemy.
