内容介绍 :	Opera actress Lee Pik-ha specialises in the role of Wang Zhaojun, a rare beauty who is ordered by the Emperor to marry a barbarian king . Her greatest fan, journalist Wong Kwun-lun, gives up his job to accompany Pik-ha as she goes to Mongolia to perform. Their affair develops in Mongolia. One evening, Pik-ha is asked to perform at a function for the White Russian delegate Yan Kam put on by the Mongolian Emperor Fu To. Attracted to the beauty of Pik-ha, the Desert Flower, Fu To exerts his stature to make Pik-ha his concubine. Because the White Russians plan to incite Fu To to secede from China, Pik-ha and Kwun-lun resolve to stay behind in Mongolia rather than escape. Pik-ha marries Fu To so as to dissuade him from uniting with the White Russians. Pik-ha steals the secret treaty that Fu To has signed with Yan Kam. While Kwun-lun returns to China to divulge the secret treaty, Pik-ha stays behind to sow discord between Fu To and Yan Kam through a planned love triangle, and finally succeeds in poisoning the two to death. The two armies rise in conflict and China is called in to settle the dispute. In the end, Kwun-lun and Pik-ha marry.
