内容介绍 :	The story tells of Wong Wai-ming, a graduate newly returned home, who accedes to his father's request to marry Siu-yin. Wai-ming is persuaded by his brother, Wai-chiu, to enter politics, but Wai-ming goes into journalism instead. Wai-chiu pursues his political ambitions with Wai-ming's schoolmate Pak-ming. After becoming a high-ranking official, Wai-chiu begins to accept bribes from the traitor, Chow Loi , at the instigation of his wife Mo-ching. Chow is thus allowed a free hand in his smuggling dealings. He attempts to coopts Pak-ming into his corrupt world but fails. Meanwhile, Wai-ming becomes a crusading journalist against corrupted politicians. He exposes the dealings of his brother Wai-chiu after failing to persuade him to reform. Mo-ching hires a killer to kill Wai-ming. Finally, with the help of Pak-ming, the corrupted politicians and traitors are eliminated but Siu- yin becomes a widow.
