内容介绍 :	Lee Yuk-kiu is a seamstress who lives with her uncle. They depend solely on business with Kam Sheung Garments Company for a living. Brother Sing, a staff member of the company, is sympathetic to them. Law Lai-kuen, a social butterfly, is a regular customer of the company. She is a mistress of Tong Kai-cheung, a rich businessman. However, Lai-kuen is actually in love with Kai-cheung's son, Yau-cheung. Local garments companies are to jointly organise a big fashion show. Kam Sheung Company invites Yuk-kiu to participate in the event as its representative, falsely accrediting her as a famous Shanghai socialite. Yuk-kiu becomes an overnight sensation and wins the title of the Fashion Queen. Kai-cheung throws a party in her honour. Yuk-kiu wears a dress originally belonged to Lai-kuen. Lai- kuen becomes suspicious when she finds a hole in the dress which is burnt by a careless guest with his cigarette. She is also angry to see Yau-cheung stays close to Yuk-kiu. Both the father and son turn their attention towards Yuk-kiu . Yuk-kiu persuades them to invest in her own fashion company. Manager Chu of the Kam Sheung Company and Lai-kuen try their best to sabotage the new company, finally succeeding in having it closed down. Seeing through the meanness of the commercial world , Yuk-kiu retreats to the mainland and starts a new life. (Extracted from a newspaper synopsis.)
