内容介绍 :	Twenty years ago, Mei-fong was a maid in the house of the Chiang family. Raped by the young master Man-fu, she became pregnant and was expelled from the house. Mei-fong conceals the fact for years and asks her mother to take care of her son, Sze-ling, while she is driven to prostitution. Sze-ling has grown up and is about to graduate from university, thinking that an aunt from afar has all along been sponsoring his education. Sze-ling is in love with a fellow student Yip Yuk-ping and plans to marry her after graduation. At the same time, middle-aged Man-fu is also wooing Yuk-ping. He cajoles Yuk-ping's parents into making life difficult for Sze-ling. Fully in the picture, Mei-fong takes the initiative to meet Man-fu, and starts to flirt with him. Man-fu does not recognise Mei-fong was the maid he has offended twenty years ago. Mei-fong manages to trick Man-fu into giving her the money to cover Siu-ling's marriage expenses and to buy her a diamond ring. On the day of the engagement between Sze-ling and Yuk-ping, Man-fu is shocked to discover that Yuk-ping is wearing the ring that he has given Mei-fong. He causes a scene and fouls the party. When Sze-ling learns the origin of the ring , he pours out his hatred for Mei-fong. Out of despair, Mei-fong decides to leave for good, but Man-fu arrives to question her about the ring. At last, the truth is revealed; Man-fu learns that Sze -ling is his son. Sze-ling also learns from his grandmother about his background, he immediately looks for his mother. The story ends with Sze-ling and Man-fu repenting of their misdeeds to Mei-fong. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
