内容介绍 :	Social butterfly Mei-neung marries rich man Ho Pik-sun, but has a secret affair with young man Auyeung Fong. Pik-sun discovers Mei-neung's adultery. Fong runs away at the opportune moment. While Mei-neung is confronted by Pik-sun in a heated argument, Mei-neung kills her husband and reports to the police that Pik-sun was killed by a robber. Mei-neung has yet another affair with a distant cousin Chun Tai-lun. Tai-lun originally planned to go to Macau to marry Chun-ying. He now asks his brother Siu-lun to bring her over. Chun-ying, it turns out, is Auyeung Fong's cousin and lover. Not willing to see her married off to another man, Auyeung Fong tries to seduce Chun-ying but she rejects him . On the day of Tai-lun's wedding to Chun-ying, Mei-neung goes into a jealous spin, telling Chun-ying of Tai-lun's adulterous behaviour, and causing drunken havoc during the banquet. Auyeung Fong arrives; the drunken Mei- neung tells him of her wish to kill Chun-ying. The next day, a sobered-up Mei-neung is aware that she has given away her secret. She looks for Auyeung Fong to explain, and overhears a conversation between Fong and Siu- lun, planning to take Chun-ying away to safety. Mei-neung goes to Tai-lun and claims that Fong has had an affair with Chun-ying. Next, she kills Fong after pretending to subscribe to Fong's scheme. Siu-lun finally tells Tai-lun of Mei-neung's evil machinations. Mei-neung is confronted and reveals the motives of her behaviour. Having been used and exploited by men for years, she has nursed a hatred of them all her life. After making her valedictory statement , Mei-neung kills herself before her audience.
