内容介绍 :	Ling Kon-sau, boss of Tai Tung Company, falls in love with a poor singer, Lam Gu-fung. Hiding the fact that he is a married man, he proposes to her. Gu-fung's father, hankering after Ling's fortune, agrees to the marriage. However, Kon-sau's wife is the real master of the house. Aware that her husband is having an affair, she warns Kon-sau of fidelity in a marriage . When Gu-fung gives birth to a boy Siu-ngan, it comes to the notice of Kon-sau's wife. Coveting his wife's fortune, Kon-sau abandons Gu-fung and their son. Ten years later war breaks out. Gu- fung and her son flee the war-torn areas. On the way, a businessman Yee Wan-pang comes to their assistance. Yee marries Gu-fung, but his mother and his son from his previous marriage give her and her son a cold shoulder . Kon-sau chances to see Gu-fung and demands that he retrieves Siu-ngan. Gu-fung refuses. Another ten years lapses, Wan-pang dies on a sea journey. Fearing that Siu-ngan is after the heritage, Wan- pang's mother and his son force Gu-fung to leave. One day, Siu-ngan is arrested for stealing To Kuen-ming's handbag and it turns out that Kuen-ming's father, Fuk-cheung, is an old acquaintance of Gu-fung. Arranged by Fuk-chueng, Siu-ngan is bailed out and is given a job in a factory. Gu-fung and her son thus lead a stable life. Siu-ngan and Kuen-ming fall in love and become husband and wife.
