内容介绍 :	Ko Yat-ching is a battalion commander of Nationalist Army stationed in Plum Blossom Village. He stays in the house of Chow Sau-lai. Sau-lai is a hypocrite imposing his half-baked beliefs on his son, Wah-tak, making him bound by strict moral dogmas. He also imposes strict discipline on his daughter, Kit- ching. But in fact he is a relentless womaniser craving for a maid, Ah Ngan. Knowing that his commander Yat-ching adores Kit-ching, soldier Ah Fan tries to be their go-between. However, Sau-lai has arranged for her daughter to marry the son of a senior official Ko since the two kids were born. The arrangement remains effective despite the fact that Ko's son has long been missing. Seeing that Kit-ching is in obsession, Sau-lai asks a doctor to tend to her. The doctor turns out to be Yat-ching in disguise, but this disguise is soon exposed by Sau-lai. At this point, the Ko patriarch turns up to demand Sau-lai to honour the pre-arranged marriage. Sau-lai accepts the proposal happily. On the wedding day, Sau-lai welcomes the bridegroom into his mansion and discovers that he is but Yat-ching, the battalion commander. Yat-ching turns out to be the long-lost son of the Ko family, who now appears to fulfil his bridal union with Kit-ching. (Extracted from a film brochure.)
