内容介绍 :	One day, university student Heung Yan-wing bumps into a young woman Dik Dan-wan in the street. His clothes are then stained with blood from Dan-wan. The police, therefore, mistakenly arrest Yan-wing for murder and detains him for trial. On the day of the trial, Dan-wan appears in court to surrender herself and tells the story of how she was forced into prostitution by a ruffian whom she had killed in self-defence. Yan-wing is thus free of the murder charge. One year later, Yan-wing bumps into Dan-wan again. She tells him that her uncle has incurred heavy debts and she is forced to become the concubine of a lame in order to pay off his debts. Yan-wing offers to pay off the debts for Dan-wan. At this time, Yan -wing's grandmother dies and the company where he works closes down. Yan-wing, therefore, sells off his inherited estate to start a farm. Dan-wan finds a job in a factory but the boss Lun secretly desires her and plots to separate her from Yan-wing. Believing that Dan-wan has had a change of heart, Yan-wing keeps a distance from her. A rich man's daughter Hui Yin-yee makes use of the chance and get close to Yan-wing. Soon, they get engaged. However, Yin-yee, who hankers after pleasure, cannot stand Yan-wing bury in farm work all the time and finally declines the engagement. A typhoon hits the territory and Yan-wing's farm is destroyScript Continuity Penniless, he leads a dog's life and drifts around. He is also downed by acute appendicitis. He has no alternative but to return to the city and look for Dan-wan, who sells her own blood to foot Yan-wing's medical bills. Realising that he has wronged her in the past, he resolves to return to the countryside with Dan-wan to start a new life. (Based on viewing of the film.)
