内容介绍 :	Chiu Sin-boon is manager of a company. Peculating the company fund to finance his own business, he ends up owing a huge debt to his boss, Chan Kwok-leung. Thus, Sin-boon forces his daughter Mui-fong into a marriage with Kwok-leung's son, King-sun. Mui-fong is put off by King-sun's skittish and boastful nature. She decides to run away on the night of their wedding, but while making her escape, loses her balance and falls off the roof. Mui- fong becomes permanently crippled King-sun nullifies the marriage. Meanwhile, Sin-boon is wanted by the police for smuggling activities. He runs into his home to hide from the police and discovers the affair between his second wife Ming-chu and his secretary Tong Wai-kwong. The two illicit lovers are preparing to run off together. While Sin-boon and Wai-kwong face off, the latter is accidentally killed by Ming-chu. Sin-boon and Ming-chu are arrested and jailScript Continuity Mui- fong is left to fend for herself. Fortunately, her old schoolmate Sung Ching-wah, remains faithful to her and tends to her needs. To help Teacher Wai run a voluntary school, Mui-fong approaches King-sun to ask him to donate land for the school site. She endures his sarcasm in the initial stages, but King-sun is finally moved by Mui-fong's sincerity and agrees to donate a fraction of his fortune, leading to the completion of the project.
