内容介绍 :	Country hicks Ah Sing and Ah Shui are impressed by city slicker Wan Cho-sheung, son of a fellow villager Uncle Wan, who comes back to the village for a visit with two pretty girls. The girls are Rose Blue and Peony White. Their demeanours and antics cause a stir in the village. After discussing with their wives, Ah Sing and Ah Shui decide to seek a venture in the city. At the station, they lose their luggage to Big Brother Long, a con man. The two decide to call on Cho-sheung for help. Himself a con man, Cho-sheung shows the two hicks to the door. Ah Sing learns that Ah Shui is in possession of an old precious jade and his dream runs wild. That night in his dream, he and Ah Shui meet the mayor who has come to buy the jade. Ah Shing curries favour with the mayor by showing him the jade. In the process, he wins a senior job as a battalion commander. Ah Shui, meanwhile is appointed the manager of a trading company. However, both men are not measured up to the standards of their posts. They become puppets of the mayor's henchman, Big Brother Long. Ah Shing becomes a victim of Blue Rose's seduction, while Ah Shui is hopelessly infatuated with White Peony. Cho-sheung snatches money away from the two men. Their wives make repeated calls for them to return home. At this juncture, Ah Shing and Ah Shui suddenly wake up to their nightmare and understand that they will be better off back in their country village. After seeing the police arrest Cho-sheung and the two girls for frauds, the duo embark on their journey home, resolving to work hard for an honest living. (Extracted from a newspaper synopsis.)
