内容介绍 :	Tso Ying-dai is the daughter of an official. She has been well-educated and laments the fact that she was not born a man so that she may go to pursue her study. She disguises as a man to convince her father that she can pass off as one. Ying-dai meets Liang Sai-pa at school and they become close friends. She admires him but the relationship is only a brotherly one. Three years pass, they both graduate. To Sai-pa's delight, Ying-dai reveals her true identity and he proposes marriage. Ying-dai, on behalf of her father, drafts a national policy for the emperor, who is pleased and arranges for her to marry Ma, the son of a high official. On hearing this, Sai-pa falls ill and dies. Ying-dai is grief-stricken. On her wedding day, she goes to Sai-pa's grave and kills herself. The two lovers are transformed into a pair of butterflies, flying away to heaven.
