内容介绍 :	Chan Pui-ngo has long been in love with Cheng Chung-kin but because Chung-kin is poor, Pui- ngo's father opposes their marriage. Chung-kin decides to go abroad and promises to come back for Pui-ngo once he has established his career. Meanwhile, Pui-ngo loses her job and her father incurs large gambling debts. Fortunately, they undergo the crisis with the financial help of the married businessman Lau Siu-kei. In order to thank Siu-kei for his help, Pui-ngo agrees to become his concubine. Not long after, Pui-ngo gives birth to a daughter, Siu-ngo . However, she is constantly oppressed by Siu-kei's wife, Wai-chen. Several years later, Chung-kin returns. He learns about Pui-ngo and decides to tell Siu-kei the truth of their affair. At this point, a quarrel breaks out. In the chaos, Pui-ngo is struck down by a car. On her deathbed, Siu-kei agrees to let Chung-kin and Pui-ngo marry each other. However, Pui-ngo's injury is so severe that she does not survive. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
