Kam Luo learns that King Chun wishes to make an alliance with Yin State, thereby strengthening their attack of the rivalry Chiu State. He, however, proposes a strategy of sending an emissary to the Chiu State and having volunteered, Kam Luo is made an ambassador by King Chun who is impressed by the youth. When the King of Chiu learns that an emissary from Chun is to meet him, he orders the generals to be on guard solemnly at the palace. When King Chiu sees that the ambassador is a merely a kid of tender age, he becomes angry and is about to order Kam Luo's execution. Kam Luo shows that he is more than a match for Chiu's generals.
