内容介绍 :	With Chow Pak and son in jail, Siu Yuet-pak, on the pretext of assisting them in getting out of prison and absolve them of guilt, rapes Lo-ching who attempts suicide but is saved. Yuet-pak's brother, Yuet-ming and his wife, come to visit from the home town. In order to take his revenge on his brother for possessing his share of the inheritance, Yuet-pak leads his brother into sexual and gambling indulgences, resulting in bankruptcy and the suicide of Yuet-ming's wife. Yuet-pak expels Yuet-ming from his house. Several years pass. Yuet-pak has become a very rich man with a needled conscience. He builds charity homes and schools for the poor. At the same time, he seeks his brother and finding him, asks for his forgiveness. By chance, Yuet-pak also finds Lo-ching who has given birth to a son, Yat-ming. Though he offers financial Asst . to Lo-ching and her family, this is rejected by the Chows. When her husband, Chow Kam-sing, dies, Yuet-pak is finally forgiven by Lo-ching and Uncle Chow. However, tragedy is not far away when after a quarrel between Yuet-pak and Fa Piu-ling over the former's attention to Lo-ching, which leads to the accidental killing of Piu-ling. Yuet-pak is arrested by the police. At the same time, Yuet-pak's ex- wife, Leung Mei-mei, is released from the insane asylum. She gives damning evidence in court that finally condemns Yuet-pak to a death sentence. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
