内容介绍 :	Cheung Yuk-lun gives his fiancee Lam Yuet-kiu a gold leaf chrysanthemum as an engagement memento. Au Wan-kwong craves Yuet-kiu and kills Yuk-lun, burying him in the plum-blossom gully. Yuet-kiu does not submit to Wan -kwong, making her family circumstances decline dramatically. When Yuk-lin's mother dies, she has to sell her child to raise funds for the funeral. Finally, Yuet-kiu is helped by her sworn sister Chow Yuk-sin and mother and child are reunited. Wan-kwong has his comeuppance and is given up to the law. (Based on newspaper advertisements.)
