内容介绍 :	After the death of Man Ching-po's rich father, Madam Sam, the father's concubine, takes control of the family and inherits the fortune. She arranges for her neice, Yim-fei, to marry Ching-po but Ching-po has someone else in mind, Chu Tsi-ying. Ching-po leaves the house to live with Tsi-ying, working hard day and night in the construction business to make himself self-sufficient. Ching-po also takes good cares of Tsi-ying's sister, Tsi-ling, who lives with them. However, the hard work finally takes its toll, costing Ching-po's eyesight and therefore strickens their livelihood. Madam Sam lures Ching-po back to the house for medical treatment, thereby separating him from Tsi-ying. She also succeeds in making Ching-po believe that Tsi-ying has left him. Meanwhile, Tsi-ying lives out a desperate existence and is forced to become a dance hall girl, her honour abused by a former classmate Yuk Sau-fung, who rapes her. Feeling herself unworthy to be Ching-po's partner, Tsi-ying lets her sister become more intimate with Ching-po, asking her to take care of Ching-po. When Ching-po recovers his eyesight, he goes to Tsi-ying's house but she is gone, leaving behind a note asking Ching-po to marry sister Tsi-ling instead. Ching-po finally marries Tsi- ling.
