内容介绍 :	Lui Tung-ban is one of the Eight Immortals. Addicted to drink and worldly matters, Lui cheats to go down to the human world. Lui disguises as a young pharmacist, selling medicine in front of the Man Chuen Tong Pharmacy, which is advertised as the "Pharmacy With All the Medicines in the World." Lui means to play tricks on the owner, asking him to search for some unique magic potions. The shopowner's daughter White Peony negotiates with Lui. They fall in love at first sight but they play around with each other. White Peony is a disciple of Wong Lung, who is, in fact, a demon seeking to seduce young women. Tung-ban works secretly to free White Peony from the clutches of Wong Lung but White Peony is too headstrong to realise that Tung-ban's actions spring from love. Lui applies one of his magic visions bringing him and White to the virtual reality realm of a paradise. Lui and White Peony become lovers. Afraid that his long departure will anger the heaven world, Tung-ban takes leave of White Peony, making an appointment to meet ten days later. However, Lam Tsoi-wo has already told the immortals of Tung-ban's affair. Lee Tit Kwai and Ho Sin Ku transform themselves into human beggars to meet White Peony a magic herb to make herself invisible in case of emergency. When White Peony's father asks her to go to Wong Lung, White Peony manages to escape from the demon's hands using the magic herb. Wong is finally subdued by Lui Tung-ban, and manifests as a giant snake. The monster is defeated with the help of the immortals, and brought back to the court of the heavens. Lui Tung-ban goes back to the Cave of the Immortals as White Peony and her family prostrate themselves in obeisance. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
