内容介绍 :	Chu Mai-sen is a poor scholar who makes a living as a wood-cutter. His wife is attracted to the high life, forcing her husband to sign a divorce paper. Chu, however, persists and finally becomes a distinguished government official. As he returns in glorious finery, he sees his wife a beggar on the streets. Though his wife asks for a reunion, Chu is unwilling to forgive her, leaving her regretting in vain. (Based on newspaper advertisements.)
