内容介绍 :	Great Grand Mai monopolises the fishing industry and practises usury in Silver Dragon Bay. The fishermen are under his oppression. Yu Jinhua, son of fisherman Uncle Yu proposes that a co-operative be established just as the fishermen of Tianmen Bay have done. Prostitute Ah Bao is in love with Yu Jinhua. Her family has been devastated by consecutive storms. Jinhua, however, falls for Ah Zhu, daughter of fisherman Seventh Uncle. Ah Zhu, in turn, loves teacher Mai Zhixin, son of Great Grand Mai. Zhixin is sympathetic with the fishing folk and thus opposes to his father's actions. Seventh Uncle and Ah Zhu go out to sea but their hired boat capsizes during a storm. Father and daughter are saved but face difficult days ahead. Great Grand Mai demands settlement of a debt from Seventh Uncle or else Ah Zhu will have to be sold. When Mai sends his thugs, led by Chen Shirong, to seize Ah Zhu, the fishing folk rise up in opposition. During the battle, Ah Bao sacrifices her life to protect Jinhua. The fishing folk declare victory and set out to Tianmen Bay to start a new life. (Extracted from a newspater synopsis.)
