内容介绍 :	Tse Chi-ko works in a company where he meets Pak Kit-yung, daughter of the boss. Kit-yung asks her father to promote Chi-ko, arousing the jealousy of colleagues Ho Sei-fong and Cheung Lo-sung. Ho and Cheung conspire to bring about Chi-ko's downfall and succeed in having him dismissed. Chi-ko next turns to running a drama school. Ho and Cheung pursue the landlord's daughter Sum Siu-yee, a student in Chi-ko's drama school, but Siu-yee is attracted to Chi-ko. When Ho and Cheung are themselves dismissed as the boss discovers their guilt in the conspiracy, Chi-ko is asked to return to his old job but he rejects the offer. Kit-yung blames her father and falls ill. His hands tied, the father arranges for Kit-yung to marry Chi-ko. After their marriage, Chi-ko busies himself in both the company and the drama school, spending little time with Kit-yung. One day, Chi-ko goes out with Siu-yee. Ho and Cheung inform Kit-yung about this date and she catches Chi-ko together with Siu-yee. An angry Kit-yung walks out on Chi-ko. Desparate, Chi-ko asks Siu-yee to write a letter to Kit-yung to explain. The letter falls into the hands of Ho and Cheung, who now plan to kill Chi-ko. Chi-ko arranges to meet Siu-yee inside a hotel. By coincidence, Kit-yung is staying in the room next door. She overhears Chi-ko's explanation to Siu-yee and realises that she has wronged her husband. At this point, Ho Sei-fong enters to shoot Chi-ko but Siu-yee stands in front of him and is killed instead. Ho is arrested, while husband and wife are reunited. Every year thereafter, Siu-yee's grave is visited by Chi-ko and Kit-yung. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
