内容介绍 :	Tso Tai-ngau is a boat coolie. When defending his friend Ah Mung in a dispute with the foreman, both Tai-ngau and Ah Mung are given the sack. Together with another friend, Chu Wong, they become street players, performing under the name of Iron Arhat. One day, when passing a restaurant, they see songstress Jade Goddess being bullied by rich merchant Chan Tai-kwai . They save her and Jade Goddess tells her story. Eighteen years ago, her's mother, Lai-fong, also a songstress, was seduced by Chan Tai-kwai and made pregnant by him. On hearing her story, Tai-ngau feels pity which soon turns into love. Meanwhile, Chan Tai-kwai sends his thugs to ambush Tai-ngau. When Tai-kwai learns that Jade Goddess is his own daughter, he tries to stop the attack but is mistakenly shot dead on the scene. Before he dies, Tai-kwai leaves his fortune to his daughter. Tai-ngau is arrested for assault. On his release, his good friend searches for Jade Goddess and eventually brings the two lovers together.
