内容介绍 : | In the last years of the Qing dynasty, the Shaolin camp rises in rebellion, resulting in the burning of the Shaolin Temple. The disciple Hung Hei-kun breaks through the surrounding Qing soldiers and escapes into the river side, hiding in a boat. Saved by Wong Wah-bo, Hei-kun travels by boat to the Fa County. There, Hei-kun meets martial arts coach Lok Sing, an admirer of the Shaolin heroes. Seeing the Shaolin dragon tattooed on Hei-kun's body, Lok Sing invites him to his school, hoping to bow before Hei-kun as master. Hei-kun is happy to stay behind to plan forthcoming conspiracies against the Qing authorities. Lok Sing's sister, Siu-ling, becomes enamoured of Hei-kun and regularly visits the martial arts school hoping to arouse his interest. However, Hei- kun remains indifferent. The city is put in turmoil as Hei-kun carries out acts of sabotage against the magistracy and burns the granary. One night, as he escapes from the Qing soldiers, Hei-kun enters the boudoir of Lau Ying-chun, daughter of Lau Sum-yim. He becomes friends with Sum-yim, who supports Hei-kun's cause and joins the conspiracy to topple the Qing government. Siu-ling is jealous that Hei-kun is attracted to Ying-chun and divulges secret information to Lok Hing, her brother, who is a policeman. Consequently, Hei-kun and a group of supporters are arrested. Regretting her act, Siu-ling goes to another brother, Lok Cheung, for help. As the prisoners break out of Fa County, the Qing soldiers give chase. Sum-yim is fatally wounded. Before he dies, he entrusts Ying-chun to Hei-kun and instructs him to carry on the struggle. (Extracted from the film brochure.) |
