内容介绍 : | Tyrannical Tsui Emperor Yeung is under the sway of the evil minister Yuman Fa-kap. The loyal minister Lee Yuen is falsely accused of inciting rebellion. The emperor is about to execute Lee Yuen but Lee's fourth son, Yuen-ba, pleads for his father's life. Lee Yuen is saved. The emperor is so impressed by the young Yuen-ba that he makes him governor of Chiu, helping his father to guard Tai Yuen. One day, while on an inspection tour, Yuen-ba helps a young girl, Ming-chu, who is being robbed by mountain bandits. Having found out that their two families are intimately related, Yuen-ba takes Ming-chu and her mother into his household. Soon after, Ching Ngau-kam, a local despot and the army marshal, Chun King, rise up in rebellion against the emperor. Lee Yuen and Lee Yuen- ba are ordered to put down the rebellion but his mother, Lady Dau, recalls that the family owes a favour to Chun King and instructs her son not to harm Chun. The rebellion is put down after a battle with the rebel general Pui Yuen-hing . At this time, Yuman Fa-kap and his son stage a palace coup. The emperor is killed and his royal seal stolen by the plotters. Lee Yuen and Yuen-ba are the next target of the plotters. Lee's second son, Sai- man gets wind of the plot and informs Yuen-ba, urging him to resist. Yuen-ba and his generals counter-attack and retrieve the royal seal. Lee Yuen is urged to take up the throne but he refuses. Instead, the Emperor's nephew claims the throne. Yuen-ba becomes the first knight of the Tsui dynasty and loyal protector of the kingdom.
