内容介绍 :	Chiu Fook, a county magistrate in Sichuan colludes with Ko Keung, a brigade commander of the self-defence forces, to sell public land to the Japanese for private benefit. They threaten the local gentry into signing papers absolving them of guilt. A masked avenger steals away the deeds and constantly foils Chiu's and Ko's nefarious deeds. Ko harasses a village girl, Siu-fung, but is beaten back by the masked avenger. When the guard Wu Sum posts reward bills for the capture of the masked avenger, an argument ensues between Wu and old man Lau Sei. Wu accuses Lau Sei of having alliance with the masked avenger and arrests him. Lady Ho, passing by, attempts to stop the arrest but in vain. She takes in Lau Sei's granddaughter and plans the rescue of her grandfather. Lady Ho and her cousin Lee Wai collect evidence against Chiu and Ko and present to the provincial government. Lee Wai, meanwhile, is in love with Ching-tsi, daughter of Chiu Fook but her father forces her to marry Ko Keung. She runs away with Lee Wai but Ko intercepts them and beats Lee half to death. Fortunately, the masked avenger intervenes to save Lee. Ko Keung once more forces Ching-tsi to marry him. She tries to kill herself but is stopped by the masked avenger, who brings her to meet Lee Wai by the river. They ask the masked avenger to take off the mask, and the avenger is revealed to be Lady Ho. Finally, the government sends in troops to arrest Chiu and Ko. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
