内容介绍 :	In order to snatch the huge fund carried by Lee Ho, Ting Man, the keeper of an earthenware shop, poisons him to death, and throws his naked body into a kiln, where he is burnt into a black pot. Then, Chan Ching, a scholar, comes to buy a night-pot, and Ting Man sells the black pot to him. Chan stays up late at night and suddenly he hears a voice calling him. He notices that the voice comes from the pot, which is shaking on the ground. The pot tells him the terrible case of murder and begs Chan to appeal to Judge Pao on behalf of Lee Ho and thus redress the injustice. Chan Ching and his wife Fung Ying therefore set out on road with the pot. They meet Ting Man by a bridge and accuse him of murder, but the black pot cannot utter a word in the sunlight. So they have to continue their journey at night and repose in daytime. Having arrived at Hoi Fung City, they report the case to Judge Pao, who then interrogates the pot, but it keeps silent. Then Chan Ching suffers some beating as punishment for making a "false" report and is expelled from the court. Chan complains about his pain to the pot, which says that there are deities guarding the front gate of the court and the soul of Lee Ho is not allowed to enter. Then, Chan once again appeals at night, beating the drum at the front gate to announce the appeal, while his wife brings the pot and enters the court from the rear door. Justice Pao then interrogates the pot, but to the greatest worries of the couple, it keeps silent because Lei died all naked and his soul cannot face the Judge in a naked state. Then, Judge Pao takes off his official robe and puts it on the pot. By now, Lee Ho's soul gradually appears and makes a detailed report of the case. Judge Pao then orders the arrest of Ting Man and his wife and has them executed on the spot.
