内容介绍 :	Eighteen years ago, local tyrant Chow Chi-kong raped Mei-lan's mother and killed her husband in order to seize the family fortune. Soon, Lan's mother gave birth to twin sisters, Mei-fun and Mei-lan. She and Lan escaped from Chow's clutches under risky conditions, but had to leave Fun with Chow. When she grows up, Lan practises kung fu industriously so she can take revenge on Chow, and vows to retrieve the family treasure, the night pearl. After growing up in the Chow family, Fun falls in love with a policeman, Lee Hoi-ming. At her birthday party, Chow presents the night pearl to Fun as a gift. This attracts the attention of a mysterious person, who kidnaps Fun. Not long after Lee starts investigating, Fun returns home safely. She even conveys a message from the mysterious person that she will come to take the night pearl before midnight. As midnight approaches, Lee finds Fun's behavior unusual. After investigating, he finally learns the truth about the bloody case that happened in years past. He also finds out that Lan has disguised herself as Fun and sneaked into the Chow family. Lee decides to wait quietly for Lan to expose herself. Chow's old time partner in the case comes to blackmail him, but Chow murders him. The great house is then enveloped in a shadow of suspicion. The time finally arrives. Lee repeatedly contends with the mysterious person and exposes her as Lan in the end. While he has mercy on Lan for what she has done, he accuses Chow of a series of crimes. Chow loses his life as he tries to escape. Lan is finally able to take revenge, and Lee and Fun get married.
