内容介绍 :	Lau Siu -mui is poor and her father has died. She finds a job in the Lee family as a servant. The son of a Singaporean rich man Law Tai-wai is a visitor at the Lee family, who covets the property of the Laws. The Lees hope to arrange a wedding between their daughter Anna and Wai as quickly as possible. Mui's sister is hospitalized after a traffic accident. Wai helps Mui by lending her the medical fees. As a result, Mui is fired and finds work in a factory. The relationship between her and Wai becomes closer and they plan to get marry. But it is a pity that Wai's father is swayed by the Lees and refuses to accept the relationship between Wai and Mui. Wai chooses to leave his family and gets married with Mui in Hong Kong. They have a happy marriage and Mui gives birth to a daughter called Siu Wai. But Wai can only work as a typist and has to live in poverty with Mui. Mui is pregnant again but has a miscarriage because of a traffic accident and is sent into hospital. To save Mui, Wai has no choice but to borrow money at excessively high interest. After the death of his father, Wai inherits his fortune. On condition that he divorces Mui in six months and re-marry. Wai refuses. To obtain the fortune of Wai's father, Anna's father lures Wai into a gambling snare, which leaves Wai with a huge debt and forces him to forsake his wife and marry Anna. Wai has no other alternatives but does what is required. Mui leaves home with her daughter but is then sent into hospital because of critical illness. Her daughter Siu Wai goes to look for her father and asks him to see her mother. Wai rushes to the hospital to see Mui and sincerely repents for what he has done. Wai's mother is moved. Even his elder brother is willing to give him half of his father's fortune. The end of the story is marked by the re-union of Wai's family.
