内容介绍 :	A Poor Man's Deliverance tells the story of a young girl, Cheung Hau-wan who is forced to become the concubine of Lui Tin-hung, the village chief when her mother dies. Hau-wan attempts suicide rather than submit to Lui but is saved by a poor teacher Lui Mung-ching. Mung-ching pays off her debt and brings her home to be a companion to his mother. This earns Mung-ching the enmity of Lui who harasses Mung-ching repeatedly. Mung- ching's mother dies of starvation. Hau-wan has to beg for food. Finally, Mung-ching earns his scholar's spurs and turns the situation around.
