内容介绍 : | Emperor Yungzheng rebukes General Nin Gang-yiu for his inefficiency in protecting the monk Liu Yan. He then orders Ha Bou-toi to deploy more forces to eliminate all anti-Manchurian elements in three months. A great number of the rebels are suppressed. The group of swordswomen headed by Lui Sei-leung sneak into the imperial palace to assassinate the Emperor. Fung Ying is unfortunately captured. The Emperor has fancies on her beauty, but she refuses. Tong Hiu-lan, who knows the secret of the Emperor, manages to get into the palace to rescue Fung Ying, while Lui is waiting outside to assist him. After she drinks the poisonous wine left by Yungzheng , Tong takes Fung Ying away. Then, the swordswomen make trips to summon other rebels to attack the imperial palace. Sham is left at a teahouse to wait for the result of the attack. When Lui comes back from her summon trip she is, to her utter grief, informed that Sham is killed by the royal forces. The poison activates within Tong's body. Lui is greatly disturbed and knows not what to do. At this moment, Sham suddenly appears. It turns out that the one who was killed is his cousin brother. Sham is knowledgeable in medicine and diagnoses that Tong is suffering from a mental problem, not poison. Encouraged by Lui, Tong takes some antidote and recovers. All the anti-Manchurian rebels besiege the imperial palace and are determined to take the Emperor's head. Saying that it is unfair for him to fight against so many rivals, the Emperor asks to fight a duel with Lui. Lui finally kills the Emperor. They then send a signal to inform all other rebels that victory is won, and they all leave the capital in great exaltation . |
