内容介绍 :	The county mayor adores To Man-hok's wife. He brings a false charge of treason against To in order to get his wife. Man-hok asks his sworn brother Chow Yan to hide his wife before he is arrested. Man-hok would rather die than reveal the whereabouts of his wife. The mayor thus turns to Chow Yan and his wife, but they are loyal friends of To. Chow's wife even pretends to be To's wife and marries the mayor. To's wife takes the opportunity to go to the capital to ask for the help from her father, who is a royal prince. Chow's wife tries in vain to assassinate the mayor. Chow Yan is then forced by the mayor to torture his wife. Regarded as dead, she is abandoned in the wilderness. Fortunately, an old man saves and heals her. After her recovery, she learns that her husband is in jail. She disguises herself as male and goes to sit for the royal examination. She passes the exam. Now, as an official, she is able to redress Chow Yan's case. Man-hok is sentenced to exile. He misunderstands that Chow Yan has killed his wife. With the help of his servant, Man-hok returns to the capital where he meets his father-in-law. He is appointed as an official. Accompanied by Chow's wife, he puts Chow Yan to trial. The mayor pleads guilty in the court. But Man Hok does not believe the explanation of Chow's wife. He tortures Chow Yan to avenge for the death of his wife. His wife arrives at the moment and tells the details . He feels sorry and Chow Yan forgives him. The two couples become even more intimate.
