内容介绍 :	Ho Sze-kei loses his family during the Japanese invasion. His wife Lan and daughter are dead, and he loses track with his son To and maid Ng. After the war, Sze-kei becomes the director of the Kwan Yau Orphan School. The pickpocket Ah Sam steals the coat of the rich Cheung Kat-cheung and hides in the orphan school. Sze-kei lets Sam go after he has got the coat back from Sam. Sam takes the handbag of Yiu So -fung by force. There is a document for the application of a pension fund in her handbag. See-kei comes to her help, and orders Sam to return the document. Sam steals the document from the den of his gang and gives it to Sze-kei. Sze-kei advises Sam to leave the gang and study in the orphan school, Sam refuses. Sze-kei brings the document back to So-fung and employs her as a teacher in the orphan school. Sam is arrested and is sentenced to two years' imprisonment. Sze-kei bails him out. Then Sam becomes the protege of Sze-kei and studies in the orphan school. Sam goes out one night without permission, to see his foster-mother Ng who is a maid in Cheung Kat-cheung's house. When Sam returns, So-fung is convinced that Sam goes out to see his companions in the gang. Sam feels distasteful and wants a revenge. Sam plays pranks in So-fung's music lesson. So-fung sends for Sze-kei to teach Sam a lesson. Sam takes out his dagger and wants to stab So-fung but is stopped by Sze-kei. Then Sze-kei has Sam locked up in a shed. River-Crossing Dragon, the boss of Sam's gang, takes Sam out of the shed but forces him to kidnap Sing, the son of Cheung Kat-cheung. Sze-kei comes to Kat- cheung's place for details about the kidnapping, and finds out that the maid there, Ng, is the same maid who has worked for him. Ng has brought To up and indeed To is Sam. After an unsuccessful escape attempt of Sam and Sing, River -Crossing Dragon cuts a ear off Sam. Finally Sam escapes to the orphan school and reunites with his father. The police arrest River-Crossing Dragon together with his gang, and rescue Sing.
