内容介绍 : | A historical biopic; its protagonist is a heroic figure from the era of the Southern Song Dynasty. Ngok Fei is born in the Tang yin County. Ngok Fei's mother devotes her life to bringing up her son. He is taught martial arts by his teacher Chow Tung. When the country faces invasion, Ngok Fei resolves to defend his country. Before he leaves, Ngok Fei's mother tatoos the following words on his back : 'Loyalty to the Country!' During his service under the Emperor Fai Chung, Ngok Fei finds himself in opposition with disloyal ministers who seek to appease Tartar invaders. He falls out of favour with the court and is dismissed. When the Tartar chief, Kam Ngat-sut, invades the country again, Ngok Fei is recalled into service. He defeats the Tartars but as he is about to deliver the mortal stroke to the enemies, he is recalled to court by the traitor Chun Kui who places a charge of treason on the head of Ngok Fei. Ngok Fei is imprisoned and later, put to death. |
