内容介绍 :	Passengers on board the 'Fraternity' bound for Singapore are worry-laden: Madam Chuen's husband dies early, so she takes her son Man-tsai with her to work for the Wong family. When Man-tsai falls seriously ill, Madam Chuen has no money to cure him. She grieves over her son whom she had reluctantly given away, to save his life. Mrs. Wong refuses to let Madam Chuen see Man-tsai again, and finally, even the photo of her son that she keeps with her falls into the sea. Song girl Ching Ching-bo takes care of the blind composer Yip Tsi-kwan, who has never been able to see her face. When he recovers his sight, he mistakes Ching-bo's sister Ching-yuet for her, and proposes marriage. Ching -yuet accepts the proposal. She leaves her lover so that he can be with her younger sister. After the marriage, Ching-yuet constantly quarrels with Tsi-kwan, because she despises his poverty. When Ching-bo tries to pacify them, her sister accuses her of trying to break up the couple's relationship. Ching-bo is saddened and makes the trip to Singapore. Now her sister and the man are searching for her on board. Meanwhile, the ship runs into a submerged rock in the heavy fog. Ching-bo happens to meet Ching-yuet and Tsi-kwan, who are also on board.
