内容介绍 :	Using the excuse of paying respects to her grandmother who has recently passed away, Coral Cheung goes back to Chiu Chow. In fact, she just wants to escape from reality, as she has lost her publishing business and has currently been fighting a court case with her sister about her father's legacy. She visits Pearl, a primary school headmistress and her husband, Song, a farmer who used to be her best friend when she was young. They recall the sweet memories of their childhood. Despite the fact that Coral has met some new friends like the mischievous but clever Keung, the aged twin Grandpas, Tang and Han; and Mr Chong, who is proud of having all his children abroad; she is still unhappy, especially when she has fights with her sister on the phone. Knowing that Coral has been deserted by men and has abortions twice, which have made her life in Hong Kong unhappy, Pearl reveals everything to her husband. This irritates Coral. Later, when Pearl discovers that Song has hidden the boots that Coral gave him, she scolds him. Since Pearl always controls Song he cannot stand her unreasonable complaints anymore and asks for a divorce. Pearl panics. Eventually, they are reunited again. During a trip to Guangzhou, Coral and Pearl fight over Song as Pearl fears their mutual attraction. However, when Coral leaves her village, Pearl is sad to see her off and looks forward to seeing her again next year. Coral sets off and prepares to face reality when she goes back to Hong Kong.
