内容介绍 :	Ah Tim is a young, naive girl who believes in romance. She is loved by Chan Chin-ting who works in a riceshop but Ah Tim does not recip ocate his love. Instead, she falls for Yu Si-yuen, a young man who takes advantage of her and later, abandons her. Now pressured by the need to make a living, Ah Tim works as an escort. Another young girl, New Smeetie, also finds a job as an escort. She has been living in Hong Kong with her grandmother after their home was destroyed during the war. Because of her introspective nature, she is unable to please her clients and loses her job. She becomes a prostitute and is later arrested. Her lover Chan Chin-ting is unable to help her because he is poor. Unable to withstand the pressures of life, New Smeetie chooses to commit suicide.
