内容介绍 :	Based on characters from history, this is a biography ofthe famous Sit Yan-kwai, marshal of the army. The story begins with Lau Kam-fa falling in love with the poor Sit yan-kwai. Lau's father tries to separate them but they elope and marry secretly. Lau gives birth to Sit's son, sit Ding-shan. When the traitor Cheung Si-kwai goes on an enlistment drive, Sit yan- kwai comes forth to sign up but is rejected. He is only able to join the army when he saves the life of General Ching Ngau-kam and is rewarded with an enlistment order by imperial decree. At this point, barbarian Koi So-man announces war against the Tang emperor. Sit yan-kwai fights outstandingly but his honours are stolen by traitor Cheung Si-kwai. Later, while going on a trip, the emperor is kidnapped by Koi So-man. Sit yan-kwai fights back Koi So -man and saves the emperor. Cheung Si-kwai's conspiracy is exposed. He is imprisoned and sit yan-kai is made marshal of the army. It takes sit yan-kwai twelve years to defeat the barbarians. All this time, he is separated from his wife and son. Twelve years later, when the barbarians are defeated, the emperor recalls Marshal Sit yan-kwai and sends him home to his family.
