内容介绍 :	The Emperor Zhengde of the Ming Dynasty feels sad staying in the palace and looks forward to travelling to the southern areas of the Yang Tze river where many beautiful girls live , he tours Jiangnan incognito. When the Empress Dowager discovers his absence, he orders the teacher of De, Liang Chu, to bring him back within a month. De goes to Mei Lung Town and has a fling with Li Feng who works in a tavern . The next day Chu comes to take De back to the palace. Learning that her lover is the Emperor, Li Feng is in deep sorrow. She gives her handkerchief to him and waits for him. De promises to make Feng queen but forgets her quickly . When De proposes to have Feng as his queen, the Empress Dowager turns him down and presents him with some beautiful concubines. Three years pass. Feng brings up her illegitimate son despite people's sneers and mockery. The bartender Big Bull travels all the way to the capital to lodge an appeal on Feng's behalf. De is repentant and orders to send for Feng. Feng proves too weak for the jolted path and dies before she can reach the palace.
