内容介绍 :	A young woman, Yu Feng-kwan, and her love for the revolutionary soldier Chiu Yik-yin . She becomes pregnant at the point when Yik-yin must leave to devote himself to the revolutionary cause. Yik-yin is killed by warlord Chan Yim-ming, leaving Feng-kwan to vow vengeance. She becomes a singer, assuming the name of Mei-wan. She is constantly harassed by one of the warlord's cadres, Kan Tan. On the other hand, the warlord's son, Siu-ming, is attracted to Mei-wan. Siu-ming holds no truck with his father's evil ways but Mei-wan is unwilling to break up his family and urges him to be faithful to his wife. Mei-wan continues to be harassed by Kan Tan and mistakenly Siu-ming kills Kan Tan during a spat. At this point, colleagues of Mei- wan's late husband come to tell her that the warlord has been assassinated. Mei-wan entrusts her son to Siu-ming and his wife as she valiantly surrenders herself to the law in the place of Siu-ming.
