内容介绍 :	Shek Nai-hung is very traditional and very strict with his three children, who are unhappy that their father wants to be in full control of friends they make. The eldest son, Man-tat, is in love with the singer Helen, and the second daughter, Lan-chee, admires their neighbour, Doctor Wong Cheung-ming. The two secretly date. Shek wants to be on good terms with the rich jewellery merchant, Lee Pak-kwan, and arranges a date for Man-tat with Lee's daughter Mary. He also wants Lan-chee to marry Lee's brother Chung-to. It is love at first sight on Mary and Chung- to's part, but Man-tat and Lan-chee do not know what to do. Then Man-tat comes up with a plan. He asks Helen to act as a nurse at Wong's clinic, then he pretends to be sick and asks Mary to accompany him to the clinic. Wong tells Mary that Man-tat has a contagious disease. Mary is so scared that she leaves immediately and never wants to see Man-tat again. Then Helen asks Chung-to to meet her at the clinic. Shek follows Chung-to to the clinic and overhears him saying how greedy Shek is. Helen tells Chung-to that she cares not for money, and is truly in love with Man-tat. Wong also stresses that a happy marriage is not based on money , but on true love. Shek feels guilty after hearing all that. He comes out to apologise to everyone and allows his children to marry their true loves.
