内容介绍 :	Tak-wah and Man-mei are newly wed. Housekeeper Kam and servant tell Man-mei that every midnight there would be a woman crying and there would be sounds of her footsteps coming from Tak-wah ex-wife - Ngan-ling room. Man-mei doesn believe in ghosts. Very soon Man-mei notices that the servant deliberately avoids her. Kam even says that it because of the workings of the ghost. Man-mei asks Tak-wah and learns that Ngan-ling suddenly died during an intensive argument with Tak-wah. Tak-wah did not know what to do, so Kam decided to dump the corpse to the bottom of the lake. Man-mei suddenly disappears and every one thought she is dead. Tak-wah tosses and turns during the sleepless nights. One night, he sees his servant Ah Kuen lying in a pool of blood. Kam gets together with driver Ah Chuen to fabricated lots of events, so that she could gain Tak-wah love. So in the end, it turns out that Ah Kuen died innocently. Suddenly, Man-mei appeares with an inspector, saying she pretended to be dead, so that she could investigate into the matter. Kam realizes that she has failed, commits suicide. From then on, the house returns to peace.
