内容介绍 :	Lam Chi-kin is the son of a rich man in Southeast Asia. He comes to Hong Kong to establish his business and live with his uncle, Tai Shing-choi. The Tais are quite mean. Since Chi-kin is dressed so humbly that he doesn't seem to come from a wealthy family, the Tais treat him coolly . Actually, Chi-kin doesn't want to show off and would like to do business and experience the ups and downs of life.Another of Chi-kin's uncles runs a small plastics factory with his daughter, Ah Yuk. They assume that Chi -kin is desperately looking for a job, so they employ him to work in the factory. Since then, Chi-kin and Ah Yuk work and live together and fall in love. One of Chi-kin's cousins, Ka-yiu, is in love with Ko Bik-sai. However, her parents are fond of the rich and despise the poor, so they object to Bik-sai's relationship with Ka-yiu. One day, Ah Yuk is upset when she sees Chi-kin and Bik- sai behaving intimately. Ka-yiu also suspects that Bik-sai is fickle. Actually, Bik-sai behaves like this to avoid another suitor. When Ka-yiu learns the truth, he reconciles with Bik-sai. The couple also helps Chi- kin to test Ah Yuk. Ka-yiu pretends that he is going to beat up Chi-kin. Ah Yuk tries to stop him out of love. Her revelation of love restores their intimacy. Both the Tais and the Kos go to the bank to mortgage their houses for a loan. When they see Chi-kin, they try to ridicule him. They finally realise that Chi-kin is a rich man and are regretful. Chi-kin forgets about the past and lends them the money.
