内容介绍 : | Mui Am-heung comes from an official family, she is acquainted with a poor man called Ngai Chiu-yan. They are very good friends from the very start. Moreover, Heung admires his high aspirations. At that time the Mui's family has to go to the battlefield by the Emperor's decree. Heung's elder brother is afraid of death and he absconds. Heung takes her brother's place to join the army, she even recommends Yan to be the vanguard and tells him that she loves him. Shortly afterwards she contracts a marriage bond with him. She makes numerous achievements in the battlefield. In order to conceal her real identity, she yields the honour of defeating the enemies to her fiance Yan. Yan's mother is unhappy to see that her son can only rise to high position through the help from Mui's family. She uses words to elicit discord. Yan becomes more and more indifferent to Heung, he even agrees to marry the Emperor's daughter. He is afraid that Heung will take revenge against him by snatching the merits of winning the battle. He ungratefully annuls their engagement in the hope of becoming the princess's consort, he even threatens to expose Heung's identity. Yan's violation of the marriage bond and his heartlessness dishearten her. She can do nothing but wait for the passing of the sentence. Fortunately, Heung's comrade Wan Ming-kei pleads for her. The Liao troops again launch an attack. Heung drives back the enemies after Yan's initial defeat. Yan, critically wounded, asks for Heung's pardon before he dies. |
