内容介绍 :	Fei is a good-for-nothing, who has no regular job and joined a criminal gang. One time, he has killed a cop and aspires to move a step forward along his career path with the gang. The last thing he expects is to be betrayed by a fellow gangster, forcing him to flee to Kwongchow. Fei is wounded in the foot in the chase when a policeman shoots at him. As he makes his escape hidden in a truck, he loses consciousness. When he regains consciousness, Fei realises that he has been shipped to a village called Luku in Shaan Bei. Under the care of a village girl, Sau Sau, and her grandfather, Kei, Fei recovers speedily. When he is well enough to travel, Fei is frustrated to find that fallen rocks block the only exit from the village. To cure his boredom and frustration, Fei smokes a drug and in a state of hallucination, sets fire to a cornfield, which elicits tremendous resentment from the village people. However, Sau Sau and grandpa never give up on him. Under the influence and guidance of Grandpa Kei, Fei then tries to appreciate and integrate into the simple culture of Luku village and begins to grow attached to the place he had once loathed. Fei, however, decides to return to Hong Kong to face justice in order to have peace of mind. Free at last after serving his sentence, Fei decides to return to the barren place that granted him a new lease on life.
