内容介绍 :	Six years later, Chi-man's grandfather has grown very fond of Chi-man's son, Nim-yee. In the eyes of the third uncle and the second grandma, that kind of affection is a big obstacle to their plan to inherit the family's fortune, and prompts them to get rid of Yee. Cousin Po-chun overhears their conspiracy, and decides to watch Yee every inch of the way to prevent him from getting hurt. She has also fallen in love with Man. Cousin Yuen-han, Man's first love, is married to a gambler who, because of ongoing grudges with others, passes away. Man is sad about the whole thing and feels life is so unpredictable that one cannot control one's own happiness. Encouraged by Chun's love, Man successfully obtains permission from his grandfather to marry her. The third uncle and the second grandma plot and murder Man during his trip. Grandfather is so devastated to hear of his grandson's death that he becomes very ill. The third uncle seizes the opportunity to become head of the household, and drives Chun and Yee away from home. However, Man is miraculously alive. Together with Chi-wah and soldiers, they go home and are in time to stop the third uncle and the second grandmother from further wrongdoing. Feeling that the accumulation of a family fortune is the root of all evil, and gives rise to temptations among the descendants, Man proposes to re-distribute the wealth to society, to help post-war children to receive education, and grandfather gladly agrees.
