内容介绍 :	The Lok's family disperses when mainland is occupied by the Japanese troops. A few years later, Mrs. Lok's company prospers in Hong Kong. Her son Tin-yam looks after her business. Still, she misses her lost daughter very much. Another daughter Chui-yin is going out with Kuk-tat. Seeing this, Mrs . Lok hopes that Tin-yam will find a good partner soon. Wan Yuk-yin is doing manual work in Mrs. Lok's company where she chances to meet Tin-yam. They soon fall to each other. However, when Mrs. Lok knows Yuk-yin's family background, she orders her to leave Tin-yam. Facing the objection of his mother, Tin-yam falls ill. Mrs. Lok has no choice but to let them get married. In the wedding party, the bride is despised by the guests, which makes Mrs. Lok even more uncomfortable. The couple lives happily, but Mrs. Lok and Chui-yin always make Yuk-yin embarrassed. Kuk-tat covets the Loks' fortune. He takes chance to steal their jewels when Tin-yam is out of town for business. Mrs. Lok is angry about the burglary and regards Yuk-yin as the robber. Though Yuk-yin is proved to be innocent, she is expelled from the house. Tin-yam returns. Yuk -yin's parents go to the Loks to seek justice for their daughter. While people are quarrelling, Mrs. Lok's attention is suddenly caught by the birthmark of Yuk-yin. She recognizes that Yuk-yin is her lost daughter and becomes very regretful. The family is reunited. Mrs. Lok is determined to fulfil the duty of a mother. It turns out that Tin-yam is an adopted son of the Loks so the couple lives together happily again.
